i'm glad most people who read my blog understand that most of the time i'm being jokey. while i am extremely awesome, i'm not thaaaat full of myself. haha. on that note, here is day 23.

i need to be better at self control. i was trying to think of what i need to be better at, and i thought of a LOT of things. but most of them came down to having self control. i want to be more fit, eat better, exercise, save more money, etc.

fake blogging

confession: i'm starting to get kind of bored with this 30 day challenge thing. i'm sorry if you can tell by reading them. i mean, i obviously think i am amazing, so doing posts that are 100% about me is super satisfying, but sometimes the topic is just like meh. or i'm too lazy. or i just want to post a funny cat picture. [but then i come off as the crazy cat lady... altho i think that cats already out of the bag... BAHAHA get it?]. so...good thing the challenge is almost over, and most of the remaining days seem fun.

HOWEVER, i will be skipping day 22, since i already talked about my favorite food. pizza, duh.

i should probably skip day 23 too, since i am awesome at everything...

which really just leaves me to post a picture of my cat...

days 20 and 21: travel and horses

i learned about egypt in third grade, and i have wanted to go ever since. it just fascinates me, especially all of their history. for a while i wanted to be an archeologist, and go find king tut's fathers tomb (or someone like that who hadnt been discovered yet). someday when i'm rich we'll go there :)

DAY 21: A PICTURE FROM LAST SUMMER

we were camping for work and we stayed at a trailer that was on land with horses. i made friends with them by bribing them with carrots, and then nicknamed the black one "black beauty." it was fun to come back after work and relax and play with horses. i loved it ♥

DAY 19: A PICTURE OF YOU AS A KID

i think i was in the third grade in this picture (circa '96?). i'm on the right, and my friend abby is on the left. i love how i'm wearing a headband, windbreaker, shorts, and some sort of slip-on mary janes with tall white socks. to be honest, i'm surprised i'm not wearing leggings haha. classic. :)

i'm not a huge superhero person to be honest. like...at all. however, some comic book movies are really good and i like them. such as batman, kick-ass, and the watchmen. sooooo, i'm drawing from those. my favorite super hero from all the comic-book-turned-movies that i've seen is silk spectre (from the watchmen). she is smokin hot, can beat people up, spunky, and stands up for herself. therefore: i love her.

i want to go to the great wall of china! and visit china in general. although i don't think i'll like the food, i think it will be a very interesting place to visit!

tangalooma wild dolphin resort! i think i've blogged about this before, but i went to this island in australia when i was 17, and i fell in love with it. the water is clear and beautiful, there are wild dolphins, shipwrecks you can explore, and it is just GORGEOUS!!! i could have a nice house tucked away, right next to the beach, and it would be glorious.

this is an old picture, from when my parents still lived in maine. all of us girls had shorter hair in this picture than now, but we pretty much look the same :) haha. i love my parents so much, they are seriously amazing!

PIZZZAAAAAA!!!!!! i love pizza. it's my favorite food, and i could eat it every day. one time my freshman year i made a bet with one of my friends that i could eat pizza every single day for longer than him. and of course, i won. also, last week i ate it at least 5 out of 7 days. i can't help myself, its just so perfect and delicious!!!

whats your favorite pizza? my #1 is pepperoni, and my #2 is my garlic chicken ranch pizza. yummmmmmm!!

thunderstorms... scare the doodoo out of me!! not literally, but pretty close. i do NOT like thunderstorms at all. growing up you would find me and my dog on the couch whimpering. now it's me and my kitty, except jay-z isn't scared. i just trap him and make him cuddle with me. and i just whimper while i squeeze his guts.

sarah, rubi, and katie: freshman year roommates. they were all some (or 100) percent mexican. i was the little native american that added diversity. we had crazy fun times, including food fights, lots of dance parties, eating tons of food, building forts, feeding ducks, being gangsta's, etc.


it pretty much worked out perfectly that we all lived in the same apartment, and that we're all awesome ;)

DAY 07: A PICTURE OF YOUR MOST TREASURED ITEM

ladies and gentlemen, meet Jay-Z. we adopted him from Pet Smart almost 3 years ago. he is a snowshoe cat, which is a "rare breed" coming from siamese cats. we didn't even know he was a snowshoe until one day a comcast technician told me (he was really into cats, and knew immediately. i was like whaaa? haha). the name is because their paws are white, like they stepped in snow. isnt that cute? snowshoes are very loyal and love their owners, and we read somewhere that they typically attach themselves to one owner in particular. Jay-Z is DEFINITELY attached to josh, although he loves me too (duh). i blame kitty's homosexuality...

anyways, Jay-Z is definitely my most treasured "item," if you want to call him that. he's my sweet baby, and has officially turned me into the crazy cat lady. ♥

once upon a time (summer 2009) we went to vegas with our bffs jeff and darci. it was the best vegas trip ever! we saw lion king on broadway, hit up a cheeseball magic show, ate a lot of food, tried to go to a zoo (the vegas "zoo" is NOT a zoo, its more like a sad, overpriced holding pen!) played around in st. george on the way back, and just all around had a blast. definitely one of my favorite memories :) i want to go back!!

day 2

DAY 02: A PICTURE OF YOU AND SOMEONE YOU USED TO BE CLOSE WITH

i started my sophomore year of high school in a new school. i was really nervous, but i found a wonderful friend soon enough. her name is alex, and we soon became bff! she was always so nice, fun, and we had a lot in common. i started warming up to cats because of her adorable cat who would sleep with me when i slept over (sooo cute!). she introduced me to good movies, good music, and the concept of watching/listening to the news hahaha. hello cnn!

we had a lot of fun times in high school! for example...

we went to prom together
well, not as eachothers dates or anything...

alex and i were really close, and have stayed in contact since after high school. unfortunately i havent been back to maine in about two years or more, so we havent seen eachother in awhile. :( she is amazing and super smart. her family was sooo nice to me, i loved them! also, i introduced her to her now-fiancee! i'm so excited for them, and hopefully i can go back to maine and visit alex sometime in the near future-ish! :)
