vegas! excuse me while i head to the slots...

so i'm in vegas. sitting in a very uncomfortable chair downstairs to be on the lovely internet. theres a comfy looking one thats close and now empty, but i'm lazy. anyways, vegas is HOT! like, freakishly hot. i don't particularly care for it. it's been pretty good so far. i feel grown up saying that i'm on a business trip haha. i'm going to a training that costs $500 alone (then there's hotel, airfare, and food) and i'm only a potential employee. sweet, right? this training will look awesome on my resume and i'm getting the experience for free so i am happy.

training is boring, of course, but that is to be expected. it ends tomorrow afternoon. i haven't done anything particularly exciting here. it's more just like chilling, and eating. i did a little shopping today and would have liked to do more but i didn't feel like going out adventuring on my own. plus, josh has watched too many tv shows/movies and is scared that if i go out by myself i will be abducted. it doesn't help that i'm "not very strong." direct quote. nice, huh? i guess it's time i started lifting again...

i would go to the pool but this hotel doesnt have one. its at "the sister hotel" across the street. psh. so since we've come back from eating (at a delish cafe at the golden nugget) i've been down here checking my email and starting to catch up on some blogs (it's been forever! i have so much catching up to do!!). my bum is hurting though from this couch, which looks lovely and antique-y, but feels horrid [the couch, not my bum]. earlier i had an impromptu dance party/photo shoot in my room. i'm sharing some of the pictures with you for your viewing pleasure. you're welcome.

anyways, i'll probably delete these later when i realize it was a bad idea to post embarassing self-taken pictures on the blog. but for now i think i will head back to my room where reeses, a cold sprite, and the end of a good book (the forgotten garden) are waiting for me. night!
