oh i'll show you sappy...

things i am thankful for (because i dont think i did this around thanksgiving, and its a holiday coming up anyways), in no particular order:

1. i am engaged to the most wonderful guy i have ever known and ever will know (besides my dad of course, thats different), and i am the happiest about getting married than i think ive ever been about anything (shocker...i know...)

2. tuna. i LOVE tuna and lately im obsessed with it and i bought like 5 cans tonight. delicious.

3. people that understand me and dont think im a generally stupid person. thanks guys.

4. a wonderful soon to be sister-in-law who i [not so secretly] adore, along with all of joshuas family. wonderful parents, wonderful sister and brother-in-law, the ever-admired bj (who i only remember really from a couple times, one including when we went to the movies and i tripped and him and joshua both busted out laughing at the same time), and his niece and nephew who will soon be MY niece and nephew!!!

5. my family. they are amazing. i love them, and i love maine, and i love my dogs. etc.

6. that i finally have things figured out. i know when im graduating, i know my major and minor, i know what career i am striving for, i have a job til spring, then i have a new job set up after that.

7. all my friends, and all the new ones ive made this semester (example, the lovely darci)

8. burts bees lip balm. heals the body and the soul.

9. i have the prettiest ring ever. (it looks even better in real life than the picture).

10. candy, and my inability to get fat from eating so much.

K so that just made my day! I was mentioned in your blog, which makes me pretty much really cool. And I was mentioned in such an extremely nice way! Oh I love you!

Jess, If you only knew all the things I tell my mom and Ryan about you, you would think I'm so weird. Basically, I'm just really excited for you to be in our family. I couldn't have imagined anyone better for Joshy, and anyone that I would like better for me - cause I'm selfish like that. And, if it doesn't work out, then I'll just wish for world peace. I was thinking of achieving that by opening a Latino Modeling Agency;)

You would open a Latino Modeling Agency?...so inspirational! You are like Martin Luther King Jr. That deserves a standing ovation. :)

Tyra Banks is my real hero. She opened so many doors for African American women. I can only hope to do the same for all other nationalities. I was really impressed when she became the first black women to be on the cover of sports ill. Truly groundbreaking.

I would be thankful for being able to eat candy and not get fat, but alas, I eat candy and get fat. But I'm still thankful for candy!

I like this list. And you'll get to meet BJ more in Florida. He's the long lost son.
Oh, and Tyra has done so much for the women of this world. Think about all the doors she opened for strong african american women by being on that cover. I need some tissues, excuse me...

I used to eat all the candy I wanted and not get fat. Not so much anymore. Ahh, I never thought the day would come. I love candy anyway, it's worth getting fat.

it is worth getting fat. i would still eat it even if it did make me fat. then maybe i would be warmer in the winter. oh, and i strongly dislike (im trying to stop saying hate so much) tyra banks, so you guys should really stop talking about her on my blog haha. write your own tyra banks love story!
