inappropriate

i go to one of the most prestigious religious schools in the country. dont ask me how i even got in...i couldnt tell you. everyone here is on the hunt...for a mate. no joke. its ridiculous. you say you love someone and suddenly theres a ring on your finger a couple days later. you want to spend the rest of your life with someone you've known for a few months maybe? this is me laughing in your face.

sometimes in my classes the teacher will be explaining something and its just so funny that i cant help but to laugh. it comes out more as a quiet snort though, since im trying to hold it in. the bad thing is, its completely scandalous, and the person talking has no idea. this is especially prevalent in my science classes. the other day a teacher was explaining how this species of female birds picked their mates by choosing the male with the longest tail. i couldnt help myself.

maybe its just that im immature and inappropriate. or maybe its that everyone in this school is too stuffy/self-concerned/serious to even relax for two seconds. i mean, come on...
