outdoor delights

yesterday and today i have driven on: nebo loop, alpine loop, cascade scenic byway, and mirror lake highway. it was nice to see all the leaves changing and be reminded that utah can be pretty. obviously it doesn't even compare to maine, but it'll make do. i liked it so much i snapped some pics on my phone. enjoy.

cascade springs.
obviously not the best pic, but one of my favorite places today (to look at. the site i did there today about killed me. i fell and scraped up my arm and my knee. ugh)

alpine loop

sounds magical, huh? i think this might have been on nebo? i cant remember

anyways, i guess working in the forest has some benefits: seeing nature in all its glory. falling and getting hurt arent so fun, and neither are all the bugs, so it was nice to see some pretty scenes. if i hadnt been driving i would have been taking a lot more (and better) pictures. it's hard to describe why i noticed the 'tranquility' so much, but it was a good break from all the stress i've been having. ♥

ps: thanks for all your skincare tips and advice on my last post! for some reason my skin has been horrible lately. it's been bad since college, and every once in a while [for extended periods of time] it gets a bit out of hand. i would have much rather dealt with this crappy skin in high school than now. how is that fair, right!?

Great pics!! I definitely miss the changing leaves... There aren't many trees here in L.A.!

Unicorn Ridge, I love it! Pretty much nothing compares to Maine, I agree, but this isn't too bad! Just came over from Wild and Precious, really happy to find you and happy to be your newest follower!

Love your photos, wow the leaves are changing fast there, we still have looks of green full trees in MIssouri. Unicorn Ridge does sound pretty magical! Have a lovely day!

ok, i can't even get into how jealous of you i am right now....the few deciduous trees we have - the leaves seem to just be turning brown and falling off. AUTUMN FAIL. (hmm it seems i was able to get into it.)

ps - i've got something for you on the ol' bloggity blog today. :)

I love the fall colors. While it is awesome that the leaves change and it gets all pretty in our park it never compares to the North Carolina fall foliage that I love so much.

Such pretty fall colors and Unicorn Ridge! Yes, does sound magical :) I want to go there and be galloped away!

Some of the breakouts may be stress-related. I hope you're able to find some more tranquility like this. I am so horrible with skincare stuff, though I wish I had some better info!

p.s. i'm often on trails and often falling too...

LOVE that sign!

ProActive has worked for me, though I hear it's drying. I stopped using it but I might be going back since I haven't found anything else that works.
