i like food, dont you?

heads up, i have 48 followers right now. TWO MORE and i do a giveaway! i already have one in the works, its kind of fancy... ha ha ha. i love the suspense! (now lets hope i can scrounge up two more followers!)

anyways, i switched up the blog. i liked the leaves and the quote, but i wanted a 3-column layout so i finally figured out how to do it. i like it. more "streamlined" if you will. do you like it?

now, on to business. i need easy meals to make that have vegetables...[hidden] in them. so i can feed them to josh and he won't know. you see, josh has a little vegetable problem. i blame his mother [hi mary!] for not forcing them down his throat like my parents did. hahaha just kidding (sort of).

so if you have any ideas [perhaps food tricks you use on your 5-year-olds?] that would be much appreciated. now, i know josh will try to call me out for eating bad, which is true. but i actually like a lot of vegetables, so when we have them or are at a friends or a restaurant, i eat them. if we both ate them, i'd probably be more inclined to linger in the produce area. so please send along any tips/recipes/etc. and thanks in advance ♥

ps: she & him's new album comes out on my birthday. i think that's a sign..

How about a fried vegetable tempura for a start? I know it's not superhealthy but maybe he can try that first, they're delicious. Or including a carrot/tomato in his favorite juice? Apple + tomato juice is delicious!:) served cold, of course.:)

ooooookay, definitely time for a call out. Jess RARELY eats vegetables. Not to mention the POUNDS of candy she eats. I may not eat a lot of vegetables, but the shear volume of candy and sugar consumed by Jess is by far worse than my lack of vegetables. Her blood is mostly made up of corn syrup. So no one try and get on to me for not eating right. the end.
youre welcome sweetheart. :)

do you think you could find a copy of that seinfeld girl's cookbook that's all about putting veggies in everything? or maybe find some of her recipes online? i wish i could remember what it's called... deceptively delicious?

Hey Miss Pretty,

I don't have any veggie treats but I wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog and entering the giveaway. I wish I could help you get to "your 50". I'm super excited about the She and Him cd too. Thank you for reminding me of the release date.

hugs,
Fritzi Marie

p.s. We're "members" too. How cool!

Jess is only forced to eat candy because Josh doesn't allow vegetables into the house. So therefore, it is your fault Josh.

I have it on expert authority that Jess's fav veggie is broccoli. Go girl. (She can't help the sugar thing. It's genetic.)
